The role of the Operations Manager is to ensure the smooth running of the Events. The Event Manager is directly involved with the management as well as coordinates with delegates, sponsors, and exhibitors. Ops Manager has to Identify events venue, various suppliers any onsite staff, database and scheduling website and do all this within a set event’s budget and timelines. Operations Manager has to all after the complete flow of the event (pre-event, onsite and post coordination)

Accounting Positions

The Role of Accounts Manager is to liaison with internal and external people to look after the payments side of business. It includes the function of invoicing clients, credit control to collect debt from the events delegates and sponsors, ensuring full payment are received before the start of the event. Prepare Profit and loss statements for each event and for the company at the end of each financial year. Accounts manger is responsible for submitting all the tax documents and filling returns. Accounts Manager will also assist in monthly disbursement of salaries to all employees.

Appropriate accounting skills are a pre-requisite with training to the relevant level also provided.
